About Me
My name is Joe Ball IV and I serve as the youth strategist for the Kentucky Baptist Convention. It's my job to support, challenge and encourage youth ministers across the commonwealth of Kentucky to reach this generation with the Gospel. The purpose of this blog -- despising none -- is to do just that: support, challenge and encourage youth ministers across Kentucky. The name "despising none" is based on 1 Timothy 4:12, which reads:
"Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity." (NKJV).
Before joining the KBC staff, I spent many years serving as a youth minister in the local church. I'm also the husband of Gina, and the father of a daughter (Karen) and a son (Jordan.)
